Location based services for the enhancement of working environment

LIAISON represents a unique convergence between the strategy of a European consortium playing key roles in Location Based Services and the objectives of “Applications and Services for the Mobile User and Worker” in the FP6 IST 2nd call.

A first specific objective of LIAISON is to build a critical mass in the domain of Location Based Services for mobile workers.

On applications and services, LIAISON contributes to the emergence of services that are becoming possible thanks to the knowledge of the location of a person anywhere, anytime and in any context (also in specific environment such as indoors and in urban canyon).

A third objective is to ensure a strong articulation between research and policy objectives.
