The SISCOM (Smart Services for Information Systems and Communication Networks, https://siscom.upc.edu/) research group has been the local chair committee of the 24th IEEE Symposium on Computers and Communications (ISCC), held in Barcelona from 1st to 3d July 2019. Professors del Departament d'Enginyeria Telemàtica participen en una campanya per destacar el paper de la Telemàtica en l'actual situació de confinament.

Aquesta convocatòria s’emmarca dins la línia estratègica del Departament d’Enginyeria Telemàtica per reforçar el seu programa de doctorat. Motivat per la pandèmia del COVID-19 el Departament ha creat uns premis per a l’estudiantat del programa de doctorat d’Enginyeria Telemàtica, per a què puguin desenvolupar els seus estudis fins al màxim grau.

Els professors d'ENTEL, en Carles Gómez i la Mari Carmen Domingo, inclosos dins del llistat "World's top 2% of Scientists 2022", editat per Stanford University.

Mónica Aguilar from the @SISCOM_UPC research group of the Dpt. of Networking Engineering @ENTEL_UPC, has visited the Poblenou superblock with a group of Master and PhD students of the UPC.

The Department of Network Engineering is pleased to promote and organize the 2nd Network Engineering Day (NErD'23), a workshop on Communications Networks, Systems and Services.

We are happy to announce a talk entitled "Sustainable IoT: Energy-aware computing and communications on battery-free devices" that will be given by Dr. Jeroen Famaey (University of Antwerp, Belgium), on Tuesday, 30th of May, from 17:00 until 18:00, in room C4-128B of EETAC (Campus del Baix Llobregat).

The SISCOM research group served as the organizing committee of the 20th ACM PE-WASUN 2023 conference, hold in Montreal (Canada) from 1st to 2nd November 2023.

Enrica Zola, Israel Martín and Diogo Corrêa won the Best Short Paper Award of the 26th International Conference on Modeling, Analysis and Simulation of Wireless and Mobile Systems (MSWiM 2023) held in Montreal, Canada, October 29th - November 2nd, 2023.

The SISCOM research group has participated in the Smart City Expo World Congress 2023.
