Categories

Ph.D.1 and Ph.D.2 categories

All students who are doing their doctorate in the Network Engineering doctoral program at the UPC can apply in these categories. The Committee of Experts will select the four best works in each category. The selected students will have the opportunity to present their work during the workshop (20 minutes presentation + 5 minutes questions approximately), after which the Committee will award the following prizes in each category:

  • A first award consisting of 600 euros + diploma.

  • A second award consisting of 400 euros + diploma.

  • Two third awards consisting of 200 euros + diploma.

 

Master and Bachelor's Degree categories

All students who are doing and finishing their Master or Bachelor's Degree Final Project under the supervision of a professor of the department can apply in these categories. It is mandatory that the project is completed and defended during the 2022-2023 academic year (official deadline for defense 15th September 2023). The Committee of Experts will select the six best works in each category. The selected students will have the opportunity to present their work during the workshop (10 minutes), after which the Committee will award the following prizes in each category:

  • A first award consisting of 200 euros + a diploma.

  • A second award consisting of a diploma.

  • Four third awards consisting of a diploma.
