ISG-MAK
Information Security Group
Introduction
The main objective of the ISG-MAK group is the study of security and privacy for any platform that manages digital contents. The ISG-MAK group has demonstrated its expertise in security and privacy, designing secure crytographic protocols that could be used in many scenarios (blockchain, IoT, data marketplaces, p2p, cloud, etc.).
To provide a few examples, the members of the group have worked on key issues like attack protection and countermeasures, authentication, distributed cryptography, multi-party computation, secret-sharing schemes, key management and copyright protection.
All these topics are part of the background of the group. The group wants to continue working on these well-known previous topics, but their efforts will be focused on these new research lines:
(1) Verifiable computation, zero knowledge proofs and blockchain (2) Post-quantum cryptography and coding theory (3) AI assisted secure localization and satellite communications
